Daniel Hruska, a junior at Cherry Creek High, won the Division 1 boys 5-kilometer race in 15:05.5 at the Liberty Bell Invitational at Heritage High in Littleton, Colo. Hruska helped Cherry Creek place second overall with 194 points. Hruska ran the sixth-fastest time overall from all four boys varsity races combined.
