Riley Stewart of Cherry Creek High, a Stanford signee, finished fourth in the girls mile in a Colorado outdoor state record 4:38.21 at the Brooks PR Invitational in Seattle. Stewart, who eclipsed her own mark of 4:40.66 established at last year's meet, was part of the deepest girls outdoor mile race in U.S. prep history, with seven female athletes running under 4:40.
