Senior Riley Stewart of Cherry Creek High in Colorado, a Stanford commit representing the Colorado Bruins, took third in the girls 5-kilometer gold race at the RunningLane Cross Country Championships at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Ala. Stewart, who led the Colorado Bruins to a fifth-place finish with 237 points, clocked 16:28.38 one week after winning the Nike Midwest Regional in Terre Haute, Ind.
